J was one of the ones that 'knows'. He may not have it figured out how to share or what it all means, but his answers might have been some of the most off the wall.....but he was also the same kid with the right answers!! ♥ And his sister was one of his thankful fors!Renea Lynchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15212063725079986998noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7903305891660127600.post-60321475820902823162011-01-13T09:58:50.704-08:002011-01-13T09:58:50.704-08:00Okay... In the beginning I was wondering where on ...Okay... In the beginning I was wondering where on Earth your were going with this, and honestly a little concerned because I know who made the 'skateboard' comment! Lol! I know exactly how hard the youth are. But with them and most adults I know, remember, they don't know what we know. We are so entirely priviledged to be shown this little bit of God's heart. To be shown how He feels about the orphan and the 'least of these'. To have our hearts broken with what breaks His. We are blessed, my friend, that God has chosen to share that with us. Remember your transition back from Haiti and your frustration with T. He hadn't been where you had been and hadn't seen with his own eyes what you had seen. He couldn't know. I know it's like beating your head against a brick wall. WHY DON'T THEY GET IT?? But, I guess that's why God showed us... so we can be His hands and feet and share what we know, what we've seen, what we've experienced. If they don't listen, then it's too bad for them. But we are being obedient with what God has shown us. That's all we can do. And it's just our little hometown that ignores us. God has most of the world ignore Him, even after He provided His Son as a sacrifice for us. Imagine the hurt and dissapointment and the wanting to bang your head against a brick wall He must feel. Ugh! So anyway, chin up and we will keep on keepin' on! We will do what we can to show God's heart to our town, it's our responsibility! And we're slackin'! So let's get back to it!
And tell T. that J. wants him at youth on Wednesdays! He misses him when he doesn't come.
Love ya friend!JCrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04444770880572630150noreply@blogger.com
